Thought this would be good to post up as it's something very important to me and I thought we could all add to it. So if you know of any companies that DO NOT test on animals please post them here.

Yes I know they are a bit obscure aren't they - which just goes to show HOW many companies DO test on animals.
I have a PDF I'll post here - it's full of companies I've never heard of either but there might be some Aussie ones you recognise.

I hope you recognise products on this list Heka - there's two I know for a fact are Australian - I just hope there's a few more for you. It is SO difficult finding vegan products - I'm having just as much of a problem as you - living in Spain and all that. Though I can get things delivered from the UK - work isn't good for me at the moment and money is an issue. It shouldn't be but it is. I'm delighted to see Orange Mate onthis list anyway - it's one product I'm familiar with.

Tre Semme I wouldn't use as they are very very cagey on their actual procedures. If they didn't test on animals rr use products that have been tested then why be so cagey about it? The other two I will look into for you. ;D

Whilst Schwartzkopf and Henkel do not test its final products on animals, it has no agreement with its suppliers to state that they do not test their ingredients on animals. I wouldn't use them. a?

hmmm but i dont think theres any other brands of shampoo avaliable at woolies that isnt unilevel or one of these. i will go and check, but if im right, and schwartzkopf and henkel, and tre semme are the only other ones, would you suggest schwartzkopf and henkel as my best bet? when i go to adelaide next year ill have a good look around the city, but until then...
Ive asked mum to buy schwarzkoph shampoo etc now, cos we ran outa sun silk (finally). from this info ^ think schwartzkopf is my best bet. I also know they make Fa deoderants so thats the deodrant issue covered as well

Your questions never annoy me Heka.
I will get back to you on those - Natures Organics does sound promising but you never can tell.
