I was at school and everyones know's i'm vegetarian. Wen't in to the school kitchen cos people said there was food there and I was told i could eat the dips, so i feasted a bit. when i asked what they were i found out that the one on the left was bacon and cheese.
i immediately started feeling sick. I havent eaten meat in over 18 mnths. i can't believe i didn't taste it. I tried to spew it up, i didn't want it in my system, but it wouldnt come up.
I felt a bit sick the rest of the day but tried to convince myself that if i swallowed it and i couldn't get it back up, then mayb it's meant to be there, maybe the goddess wills it or something, but i can't see a reason for it to be there. But i was thinking last night about it and i realised that the goddess had helped me out the last two days with me schooling cos i was having trouble, and maybe this was the payback she wanted, but i still can't see why she'd want that.
I really don't know. this isn't esactly a question but yeah. i figured it was meant to be here.

I've done that before Heka and it's a horrible realisation. Which is why I'm not too keen on eating out - at least if I've cooked it I know what's in it.
But eating out is an enjoyable experience and I don't like to make too much of a fuss. I'm sure a restaurant we went to recently made the "vegan" dish with chicken stock but I just convinced myself that it wasn't for fear of never being invited out by my friends again.
Think I'll just stick to salad and chips from now on.

but then even chips are either cooked in animal fat, or they cook schnitzels and other meat things in it. I won't eat at KFC because i know for a fact that one, they cook chicken in the chip fat and also that the actual batter on the chips has a meat product in it (a friend of mine works there and checked the ingredients). Now i don't eat chips at any fast food place because most of them are run by Yum! company (i think that's what it is) and they will probably all have the same supplier.

Chips cooked in animal fat!!!!
REALLY??
That's hideous. Do they not realise how much cholesterol that would be? That just goes RIGHT off the scale.
That's heart disease on a plate!!
I won't eat at KFC because KFC stands for Kentucky Fried Cruelty (I have some literature on this if you'd like me to send it to you).
I don't eat in Maccy D's or Burger King or any other fast food hell hole like that. In fact the only fast food I eat is Subway. Subway Veggie Patties are to die for.

yep. the only place i know that cooks in veg fat is barnacle bills (fish). we went there for school trip and they told us that their the only ones, though slowly more, that use veg fats.
really? i usually avoid vege patties, you never know whats in them. i usually just go for vege delite with all salad except carrot and olive, and cheese. but im gonna have to try these veg patties. if you say their good, they must be good
