cheers for this. i am a crisp piggie and my animal free shopper book has just gone out of date. wondering whether to buy the new one what with my imminent move to portugal......do you have it and is it useful in Spain at all?

Are you moving to Portugal???
I do have the animal free shopper though it got chucked in the cistern of a toilet (along with my bag, mobile and purse emptied of money) and is rather the worse for wear but still readable!
It is helpful when I'm shopping around in the British stores here and there are a few of them round where I live (we have a HUGE ex pat community here). If I were you I wouldn't buy the latest edition if you are moving out the country.
And you can always ask your old buddy here to look up stuff for you. I wouldn't mind.

well i am going to portugal on an open ended basis and have enough money to keep me going for a year....so hopefully it'll work out!
