Apparently though, not how to read the ingredients on bread! I've had the L'oreal debate a fair few times and it's still a rather shady area so I choose NOT to use any L'oreal products including The Body Shop. Which pee'd me off no end because their Mango Body Butter is the BEST! Such are the sacrifices we make hey............

its a toughie. you can tell the Body Shop has been taken over as now the shops are all covered in special offers and actual annoying sales people who wont leave you alone. i will never ever shop there again!!
and, im not entirely sure if im right on this one, but now the bottles say 'against animal testing' when im sure beforehand it used to say 'not tested on animals' ...........bit of a funny one that.

They did used to say "Not Tested on Animals" Em. It's a stupid law that. Against animal testing on a product made by a company that DOES test on animals is an oxymoron - moron being the operative word!

Not bad at all Heka!! I've done the same thing and in fact I still have some L'Oreal make-up that I will use up - but they'll never get another penny out of me again. Same goes for all the other companies that test on animals.

Some products that test on animals are really surprising, for example I volunterr in a PDSA charity shop and as its a animal charity they dont sell any products tested on animals so the batteries we sell are this really cheap brand as apparently durracel test on animals! I was so surprised, I dont understand how they could even do it!

Duracell tests on animals? That's random. Do you have Energiser? or do they test on animals as well? Because they're a good battery brand.
Oh and have you noticed in Body Shops now they have posters and flyers everywhere about how their workers get paid and about fair trade-y stuff? It's like they're trying to detract from the fact that they're still testing on animals by giving us something good to look at!
